The United Nations Development Programme "UNDP" has engaged “Prishtina REA” Agency, duly incorporated under the Laws of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, to perform services in respect to the provision of socio economic assistance to up to 82 returnees and 52 additional which have been assisted with housing reconstruction under the UNDP Returns Programme, Sustainable Partnership for Assistance to Minority Returns to Kosovo / SPARK – Individual Returns Facility.
Tasks to be carried out by Prishtina REA in implementing the agreement will be throughout three implementation phases described below:

Implementation Phases
Phase 1) Assessment and training of beneficiaries – This phase covers ongoing identification of the socio-economic needs and assessments of beneficiaries in order to have a clear picture regarding the state, profile, experience, skills, potential of beneficiaries, and opportunities etc. Brainstorming session with beneficiaries to help Prishtina REA to initially categorize, classify and grouping the beneficiaries, in order to be able provide the very appropriate –tailored-made’ training subjects due to their very needs, level of education and understanding and aiming towards the project objectives, i.e. sustainability, start-ups, employment ,income generation and integration etc.
Phase 2) Provision of Income Generation Support – It covers implementation of training’s for three possible groups on selected topics determined based on the assessment and brainstorming phase. These trainings will be delivered through five days, on different topics based on the assessment need. Preparation and implementation for the training session “Starting up a Private Business”, which will train, equip and enable the candidates to prepare their own business plans in order to continue with the procurement procedures for the equipment.
This phase also includes activities for the component ‘Training on the job’ (only for candidates who are identified for Training on the Job), and ongoing advisory services provided to all of them in the light of the process either for start-ups or job-placements.
Phase 3) Grant-giving and monitoring process
This activity covers preparation for procurement and delivery of goods that will be purchased upon your business plan preparation assessed by Prishtina REA and UNDP joint team.
